Danielle Hargreaves Pittman is from Reidville, Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland and Labrador). She is a Mi'kmaw beader who makes jewelry, and a former member of the Qalipu First Nation. Danielle attained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2012. She attained a Master of Arts in History from Brock University in 2014. Danielle earned a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2025. Danielle is an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve and is an Articled Clerk at Burchell Wickwire Bryson LLP in K'jipuktuk, Mi'kma'ki (Halifax, Nova Scotia).
